Inflation is the primary reason why there is a disconnect between the polls, and the top line numbers that the Biden administration likes to tout. The average American is hurting, and sees the higher prices in everything they touch, and no amount of convincing from the administration will make a difference in their mind. I dislike when Inflation is characterized as some mysterious menace from a foreign land come to destroy our economy. Inflation is caused simply put by the Federal Reserve and the US government. I don't see how inflation which is caused by excessive money creation and deficit spending of the US government can ever come under control. Our nations politics have slithered down to banana republic status. It looks like our currency is following the same course.

Pomp, would you consider writing it an article regarding Bitcoin miners? Unfortunately I bought too many of those near the top of the last market right before the crash seeing some recovery but then some counter moves where bitcoin is going up while miner prices are going down. Is this because of the Halving? Would love your opinion on the long-term Viability of holding bitcoin miners in a portfolio.

I don't know why Wallstreet would think the FEDS would lower rates in early 2024 initially. They should probably keep rates as is and tell the gov't and themselves to stop doing wasteful spending. I see inflation going up for the next 2 quarters but may stay under 4%. Then maybe see things cool off a little in Q4. Can push lowering rates projections to 2025. US Government (both parties) drunk with the printing press.
