Kind of cynical view Pomp. 10% of the population owns 80% of stocks and the next 40% own the rest. The bottom 50% own zero. The bottom half of the country is getting crushed by inflation while the top 10% (really the top 1 or 2%) hold inflation protected assets. Not a great way to run an economy.
I'm fortunate because I own assets that go up with inflation, though not much crypto. It's those with no assets that get screwed. We need an improved system that preserves free markets and capitalism, but somehow levels the playing field. I actually think inflation is designed to keep the masses down.
Yes. I think so. Particularly Bitcoin. But I'm too new to the space to know exactly how it will work. Obviously, I know that that there's a fixed supply. But I worry about access, security, etc. recent moves by Trump and others give me hope for short term.
