Warren Buffett is 94. He's worked 30 years beyond what is accepted as a "normal" retirement age because he clearly loves what he is doing. Now at 94, actually waking up every morning is a gift. He's put this off much longer than is reasonable. Time waits for no man. While there's still a window to preserve his legacy, all that hard work and the good fortune of all his shareholders, Buffett must unfortunately make that transition immediately. He clearly changed the landscape and demonstrated what is possible -- and did it in Omaha, of all places.
Good piece here. It will be interesting to see when they begin to publicly consider using Bitcoin instead of cash as their treasury strategy! I suppose I should do the math about the market value of Berkshire Hathaway had they begun a Bitcoin treasury strategy when Michael Saylor did. Someday in my free time!

He’s getting too old. He Wants to be able to mentor a replacement.
Stepping down because he doesn't know what to do with the money is the dumbest thing I've ever heard!
I guess the last 60'years where a fluke!
or maybe he's retiring because he's 95 years old and just wants his successor to start before he dies.
Can you speak English?

Agreed... that is exactly it... he's 94 and is going out as the Golden Goose.
I bet the next one is a bitcoin bull.
