Truly amazing to watch!! And with Tesla on the verge of becoming the first fully autonomous auto manufacturer, Elon will undoubtedly cement his spot in history as the greatest innovator/visionary of all time!!

Side note, i am kinda bummed out I reserved my spacewalk with Boeing during their mid summer sale. Saved 20%… however in hindsight probably should’ve gone w SpaceX. Live and learn, right? 🙄

It's funny how we get used to meme-phrases and never question them. They don't walk in space but float in space. Who could have coined that and why do we keep repeating them?

Have you ever thought of what a waste it is to spend 8 billion dollars so that 2 people out of 8 billion could float a bit? isn't there a more socially productive way of burning (literally, in rocket fuel) that kind of money from the tax-payer, through juicy NASA contracts, the only reason SpaceX is viable?

Speaking of Elon, is he aware that he is causing drought and dissolving clouds (less albedo)?:

I don't buy it. If space is a vacuum, how is it the atmosphere does not flitter away into the vacuum of space leaving the planet with no atmosphere? And don't give me the gravity BS. Gravity is supposedly a weak force and as such would not be able to overcome the force of air molecules expanding to fill the unlimited void of space?

Suck the air out of a railroad tank car and this is what happens.

Anthony, while this is an amazing accomplishment, we should be working to fix the problems here on earth with our incredible innovative capabilities. Want a list? UN Sustainable Development Goals. This is EXACTLY why we can't leave decisions on what to work on to private individuals with more ego than resources.

It's the slimmed down spacesuits that get me.

Compare them to the stereotypical bulky suits we see in movies of old. The classic ripples in the white cloth and the big old rectangular backpack. The big old round helmet.

As irrational as this sounds, I'd personally feel 'safer' in one of those bulkier suits because wearing one of these slimmed down suits would make me feel like the vacuum of space is 'closer' to my body, as if there is less of a margin of protection.

From a technology standpoint that obviously makes no sense, as the modern suits are superior in almost every way... which is why I said I know it sounds irrational, because it is :D

After twenty years apart, I and Tom, my childhood friend reunited on a luxurious yacht. As we sailed through the ocean, we reminisced about their carefree days, reflecting on how our lives had changed. Tom had become a lawyer, feeling lost in his career, while I, a successful businessman, admitted to losing himself along the way. Despite our different journeys, our deep connection remained. As the sun set, we raised a toast to old memories and new beginnings, cherishing the enduring bond of friendship.

I remember he related a story to me about one time when a client of his was ripped off of close to 2 million dollars some of which belonged to Tom, if not for the timely intervention of EZREKO, a recovery specialist registered under the World Bank Group (WBG), that helped them get back every single penny of the money, they would have been in a huge mess with the government. The agency is still well around and functioning, and helping out good citizens to recover what rightfully belonged to them.

"Does that mean humans will live on Mars? Maybe. Does that mean humans will live on the moon? Maybe. Does that mean humans will live in modern versions of the International Space Station? Maybe."

Does that mean the richest nation on Earth will provide their tax paying citizens healthcare? .

...NO.

Trust me I'm from the UK where we have the NHS and I can tell you too get a doctors appointment you can't book days in advance, the only way to get an oppoitment is to ring the doctors surgery at 8am and hope you get through before that days appointments have gone. My girlfriend has been confined to a wheelchair for the past 3 years waiting on a double knee replacement, she had one done after waiting 2 years its now a year since 1 knee was done but now you can't even ring the surgeons secretary to find out what's going on as the secretary has now got a secratery.
