This has never been anyone else's responsibility. The government has since the formation of the Fed been solely concerned for the financial security of the oligarchy. All the rest of the blather that comes from the mouths of politicians is just insincere nonsense. The government is not run by the people; hence they will spend to their hearts content since most are atheists (no matter what they proclaim publicly) who believe only in the here and now with no concern what the future will hold for the people of this once great country.
