This triggered memories of Enron's attempt at creating markets on weather and water twenty years ago...hopefully we don't revisit that level of fraud. Some of this may be useful to hedge but I suspect much of it will be pure gambling. What's new? One more market for "professionals" to take from "unsophisticated" retail investors. Can't wait for the Michael Lewis book on this era...
