Perfect! Pomp takes bitcoin off his bio and it shoots up 10%. It must be the Pomp effect. JK. Twitter is terrible.

Great post! Love this:

"I’ve always relished the student role. I know nothing and am hungry to learn. It is really hard to ask dumb questions and learn when people expect you to have the answers. “You are on television. You are speaking at conferences. You must have the answers!” Well, I don’t. I want to learn. This is a journey that never ends."

High-quality emerging currencies may be able to better solve this problem. The prices of BTC, ETH, etc. are already high, which is a challenge for ordinary investors and senior investors, and the profit point is not high. This is the time to find It is more profitable to go to high-quality emerging currencies. The learning of cryptocurrency investment knowledge never ends.

I hate to be cynical, but despite how much i respect Pomp for introducing me to Bitcoin, I can’t help but think he is distancing himself from an awkward situation with BTC down ~4x from the Laser Eye peak. That said, I will always pay attention to what Pomp has to say.

It takes a lot of guts to call these shots (especially when you're wrong). The internet is unforgiving. Pomp still likely has a net worth exceeding mine. So, he's doing something right.

This has been a long time coming. Laser eyes are a dying symbol of freedom and more equitable opportunity within the financial system. I respect those who are willing to try to lead disruption and advocate for change, but i think it is smart to abandon those symbols and pivot from being viewed as an expert, or leader, to that of someone on a journey of learning.

SUCH an amazing post today. Really appreciate your self reflection and candor. The Japanese have a character called GAKU that, roughly translated, I'm told means "lifelong learning is the only type of learning". Proud of you, man. Great job. Evolving isn't ever easy. But it's necessary to thrive for a period longer than a moment.

You don't have to explain yourself, everybody goes through their own journey, reinvention, transformation. Carry on. Reminds me of Andreas Antonopoulos who was critical at the beginning but now he is kind of behind the curtain.
