So the BTC endgame was always about bringing together "the largest gathering of sophisticated Wall Street investors" was it? I'd call the BTC game a DARPA-conducted slow circle. Escape financialization or embrace and epitomize it?
At the very least, the Pomps of the world should fess up to the drop-dead irony of the flipped quest. Not so much mission creep as a mission that's turned inside-out on itself with nary an acknowledging comment from the mission cheerleaders.
