We know tech is highly deflationary. As the economy is driven more and more by tech, it will carry it's effect into the eather resulting in deflation not inflation.
The tariff-inflation everyone braced for never showing up is the part most people still haven't updated on, and Powell admitting the Fed misread it is a bigger tell than the CPI prints themselves. The piece I'd add: if the market is pricing low inflation with steady growth, that's also why crypto has been bleeding into AI capex instead of catching a debasement bid. Hard to run the inflation-hedge thesis when the inflation never arrives.
I’m with you on this Pomp. I read Warsh’s statement from last week and I didn’t think it predicted rate hikes. He just said they would control inflation. He didn’t say that required rate hikes.
Gotta love how PermaBull Pomp brings hope

If inflation is low, why does BOFA say they expect 3 rate hikes before the end of the year?
