Privacy and freedom during the Hong Kong protests

There have been hundreds of thousands of people flooding the streets of Hong Kong to protest a proposed bill that would allow individuals to be extradited to mainland China to face charges and/or prosecution. The photos and videos surfacing from the protests are incredible.
