"There will be questions related to ethics and conflicts of interest." Let's hope there is. Seems a bit ridiculous that a POTUS should get to mint Billions of dollars for his family overnight.

Crazy, the business entity of Trump which owns his brand launches a piece of electronic art, called a meme coin and some people are up in arms. I don't see anything wrong here. If they had launched Trump Bobbleheads and made billions no one would care. The issue here is that people are considering this an investment, because that is the way all the crypto people think. It is not an investment.

I bought one trump coin because it is an historic event. I will always own it whether it goes to zero or a thousand per coin. The people that are upset because the Trump name has so much value attached to it are just envious.

I wish I could launch a meme coin and get that kind of pay back, but I have not spent a lifetime building my name in the public. The Trump organization is reaping their rewards and I see no problem in it. No one put a gun to anyone's head to buy and nowhere did they ever make a forward looking statement that it is some kind of investment that will grow in value. It is not.

It is electronic junk that many people want to own just like they may want to own a poster by KISS from 1979 and pay $30 for a piece of paper that came with the album for free. Get a grip on yourselves this is not an invesment product and don't look at it that way. This is a collectable.Much more interesting to me than Bored Apes.
