I must with all that is within me disagree with you about your comment: ridding yourself of ego. Ego was given to us by God and it is a major necessity to fully function as a human being. Ego is not evil, it is good, in fact critical. The "misuse" of ego, at either end, is what is so terrible about the impact of misusing ego. Your decision(s) to how you use ego determines much in your life. Too much and you demonstrate your own self-god destructive attitude. Too little and you deny God, again at your own sad peril. Either of these ends of the ego spectrum will bring pain and suffering and maybe death. The proper use of ego is what is required of us all. "Think not more highly of yourself than you should". Anything less is a big problem. I could comment a lot more on this subject but i just wanted to help you a little. Blessings to you in all you do and become.

Absolutely agree. Just like anything else, there’s a healthy and unhealthy amount or variable. When i used to manage gyms like LA Fitness/Crunch id tell my trainers, each of you should think you are the best trainer in the building, but you should also know you could learn something from one another. Having a healthy ego, i believe, is instrumental in sales or entrepreneurial type positions.

Your results are up to you.

" EGO IS A SELF CONSTRUCTED AND THEREBY CHANGEABLE SELF PERSONALITY.

AS LONG AS AN INDIVIDUAL DOES NOT GET CONFUSED ABOUT WHO THEY REALLY ARE AND WHAT THEY CREATE -- EGO MAKING CAN BE FUN.

I AM AN OBSERVER AND AN EVALUATOR >>> "

AS ABOVE SO BELOW.

PLAY WELL.

Awesome Pomp. The first one was punchy, with no fluff and lots of good signal. Will be reading this one too.

The "Ideas List" habit is the part of this that most readers will skip past but its probably the highest leverage practice in the entire book. Most people consume good ideas and feel smarter for a day. Writing them down and revisiting them systematically turns consumption into compounding. The difference between someone who reads widely and someone who thinks clearly is usually just the discipline of capturing the framework at the moment of impact rather than trusting memory to hold it.

Congratulations on the second volume. Preordered.
